Privacy Policy
ProductGods ("we," "us," or "our") operates productgods.com and the Product Sourcing Secrets course at app.productgods.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we use it, who receives it, and the choices available to you.
01Information we collect
- Contact information: Your name, email address, and the messages you send us.
- Purchase information: What you bought, when, the amount, and the order and payment status. Purchases are processed by Whop; we do not receive or store your full card details.
- Account and sign-in information: The email address you sign in with, and, if you sign in with Google, the name and email address Google shares with us. If you sign in with a one-time code, we record that a code was sent and used.
- Course activity: Lessons you open and complete and requests you send us through the course, so we can show your progress and answer you.
- Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location, timestamps, cookie identifiers, and interactions with our site and ads.
- Preferences and consent records: Your cookie choice and the date of that choice.
02How we collect information
We collect information directly from you when you buy the course, sign in, use the course, or contact us. We collect device and usage information automatically through cookies and similar technologies, and we receive information from the service providers that help us run ProductGods, such as Whop when you purchase and Google when you sign in with Google.
03How we use information
- Provide the course, your access to it, and customer support
- Process purchases and send receipts, sign-in codes, access details, and service updates
- Understand how the site and course are used and improve them
- Measure our advertising and show or limit ads, where your privacy choices allow it
- Protect the site, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our terms
- Comply with legal obligations and exercise or defend legal claims
Depending on where you live and the purpose involved, we rely on your consent, performance of a contract with you, compliance with law, or our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving ProductGods. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that happened before.
04Cookies and similar technologies
We use a necessary cookie to remember your privacy choice. Where your choice and the law allow it, we use Google Analytics to measure visits and the Meta Pixel to measure and improve our advertising.
- Necessary: Remember your privacy choice and keep the site working.
- Analytics: Measure visits, page use, and site performance (Google Analytics).
- Advertising: Measure campaigns, attribute purchases, and show or limit interest-based ads (Meta Pixel).
Where the law requires consent first, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Quebec, and Brazil, analytics and advertising stay off unless you accept them, and closing the notice rejects them. Elsewhere, including the United States, they are on by default and you can opt out at any time. The link in the site footer (labeled “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” in the United States and “Cookies” elsewhere) lets you change your choice. In US states whose privacy laws recognize Global Privacy Control, we honor a GPC signal as an opt-out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising, and we do not load the Meta Pixel for any US visitor whose browser sends one.
05How we share information
We disclose information to service providers that host the site and course, store data, process payments, send email, provide sign-in, and provide analytics and advertising measurement. These include Vercel (hosting), Supabase (data storage), Whop (payments), Resend (email), Google (sign-in and analytics), and Meta (advertising measurement). We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, financing, or sale of the business.
We do not exchange personal information for money. Some privacy laws treat advertising disclosures through cookies and pixels as “sharing,” “sale,” or targeted advertising even when no money changes hands. You can opt out through the privacy link in the site footer or, in US states whose laws recognize it, a Global Privacy Control signal.
06Email
We send transactional email, such as receipts, sign-in codes, access details, and service changes, through Resend. If we send you marketing email, you can unsubscribe through the link in any marketing message. Unsubscribing does not stop necessary service messages.
07Retention, security, and international processing
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, including providing the course you bought, keeping business, tax, and consent records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. The cookie that records your privacy choice expires after about six months unless renewed or deleted.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no online system is completely secure. We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws differ from yours. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers.
08Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know whether we process your information, and access or receive a copy of it
- Correct inaccurate information and ask us to delete it
- Withdraw consent, and object to or restrict certain processing
- Opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling
- Appeal a denied request or complain to your local privacy regulator
To make a request or appeal a decision, email info@productgods.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. Authorized agents may submit requests where the law allows.
09Children
ProductGods is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will review and delete it as appropriate.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version here and change the date above. If a change materially affects how we use information, we will give additional notice where required.
