Who makes Member's Mark products?
Sam's Club doesn't publish who makes Member's Mark. Federal recall notices name some of the companies behind it. Here they are by category, with dates, plus the categories where we found no record.
Member's Mark is Sam's Club's store brand, and Sam's Club is part of Walmart. Like most store brands it comes from many contract suppliers, one category at a time, and Sam's Club doesn't publish them. The public records that name a maker are mostly federal recalls:
- Dog food: a November 2023 FDA recall notice says some Member's Mark varieties were produced at Mid America Pet Food's plant in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
- Children's pajamas: an April 2026 CPSC recall names Hansoll Textile of South Korea as the manufacturer, with the sets made in Indonesia.
- Gas grills: a 2003 CPSC recall names Grand Hall Enterprise of Taiwan.
- Food: FDA records list the recalling firms for Member's Mark flour, eggs, macarons and freeze dried fruit.
For two of the most searched categories, diapers and golf balls, we found no record that names a factory. Each record below covers specific products and dates, not the whole label today.

Who has made Member's Mark products, by category
Each row is one public record: who it names, what kind of record it is and its date. A recalling firm is the company that issued the recall; where the notice says the firm produced the product, the row says so. None of these shows who supplies the product today.

Brand connections are historical. They show that a factory has produced for a brand at some point, from US import records, a disclosure by the factory or the brand, the press, or our own supplier research. Member's Mark products in depth
- Who makes Member's Mark dog food?
Sam's Club doesn't publish who makes its Member's Mark pet food. One federal recall names a plant for two recipes. Here is what that record shows, what it doesn't, and how to check the bag you have.
How Member's Mark products get made
Member's Mark works like other warehouse-club labels: Sam's Club owns the name and the specification, and contracts each product to a company that already runs that kind of plant. One label covers dog food, pajamas, grills and macarons, so it covers many suppliers. The records on this page show some of them, each for specific products on specific dates.
Recalls are the main public record because a recall notice has to say who is recalling, and often who manufactured the product. A recall is reported here as a dated fact. It is not a judgment of Member's Mark products today.
How to check who made your Member's Mark product
- Read the package. Look for "manufactured for", "distributed by" or "made in" lines, plus lot codes and best-by dates. The Member's Mark macarons record, for example, shows "Distributed by: Sam's West, Inc.", which is Sam's Club's own company, not the maker.
- Search the recall databases. The FDA recalls list covers food, drugs and pet food, and cpsc.gov covers consumer products such as pajamas and grills.
- Match the UPC. Recall notices list UPCs, so a bag, box or can can be matched to a notice exactly.
- Look for a registry. Meat and poultry carry a USDA establishment number, over-the-counter drugs carry an NDC you can search on DailyMed, and golf balls appear on the USGA list.
Our guide on how to find a manufacturer shows the same method with US import records.
Member's Mark and Walmart's own labels
Sam's Club is part of Walmart, but Member's Mark is separate from Walmart's own store brands such as Great Value, Equate and onn. For those, see who makes Walmart's store brands.
