Golf is where we have the deepest records: golf ball factories, bag and headcover makers, glove factories and the knit mills behind golf polos. Each card shows what the factory makes and the golf brands it has produced for, with the evidence and dates.
Golf products split into very different supply chains. A ball factory, a bag factory and a polo knitter share nothing but the customer, so source each one on its own. Golf balls are the most concentrated: many brands, store brands included, have had their balls made by a handful of contract factories.

How to choose golf manufacturers
What to look for in a golf manufacturer
Find the specialist for each product. Golf balls come from a small number of factories with the molding and coating lines to make them. Bags and headcovers come from soft goods factories that also make luggage and sports bags. Golf apparel comes from knit mills that make performance polos and quarter zips.
- For bags and headcovers: the materials they stock, embroidery and print in house, and whether they make stand, cart and staff bags.
- For apparel: fabric development, wicking and stretch knits, and experience with the fit standards golf brands use.
- Import records naming known golf brands, which are shown on these cards.
Golf ball manufacturers
Construction drives everything: a two piece ionomer ball and a multi layer urethane ball need different equipment and different expertise. Ask which constructions the factory makes in volume, not which it can make. The ball factories in these records are in Taiwan, China and South Korea; there is very little domestic golf ball production for small brands, so the practical choice is which overseas factory and whether to work direct or through an agent.
- Which brands it has supplied, and for which ball types. The cards show what our records say, from company filings, the factory's own reports and US import records.
- How it checks compression, weight, size and roundness from batch to batch, and whether you can see a recent test report.
- Whether it can meet conformance rules if you want a tournament legal ball.
- Printing and packaging: logo print, sleeves and boxes, who supplies them and the minimum for each.
MOQs and sampling
Custom golf balls need mold setup, cover material and print, so minimums are higher than soft goods. Ask whether you can start on one of the factory's existing constructions with your own print and packaging, which is how most new ball brands begin. Bags and headcovers are set per design and colorway. Apparel follows clothing rules: per style, per color, plus the fabric minimum. Ask each factory for its minimum in writing and what changes it.
Sample everything you will put your name on. Test balls on a course and with a launch monitor before you commit.
Domestic or overseas
Most golf hard goods in these records are made in China, Taiwan and South Korea. Golf apparel comes from Peru, Vietnam, Thailand and China as well as smaller domestic makers. Domestic decorators can put your logo on blanks fast, which is a good way to test demand before custom production.
How to use this list
Filter by country, then read each card's products and brands. Shortlist two or three factories per product, not one, and send the same brief to each so the quotes compare. Ball factories get a lot of inquiries from people who never order, so say what construction you want, roughly how many dozen you plan to sell in year one and where you will sell them. Ask each factory for the brands they can name and check it against the records here.

Q01Who makes golf balls for golf brands?
A small number of factories make most golf balls, mainly in Asia. The golf ball factories on this page show the brands they have produced for in our records, from filings, factory disclosures and shipment records.
Q02Who makes Kirkland golf balls?
Kirkland golf ball descriptions appear in supplier shipment records for Qingdao SM Parker Golf. That shows the factory has shipped Kirkland balls; it does not establish who makes every current Kirkland model. See the Kirkland Signature page for the evidence and dates.
Q03Can I start a golf ball brand without my own mold?
Usually yes. Most new brands start with a factory's existing construction and add their own print and packaging. Custom constructions come later, at much higher minimums.
Q04Can a small golf brand use the same factory as a big one?
Sometimes. Some factories that have produced for large brands also take smaller custom orders, at higher minimums for hard goods. Ask about minimums and which lines are open to new customers. Bring your own design; never ask a factory to copy another brand's product.
Q05Are these factories still making for the brands listed?
Not necessarily. Each connection shows when it was seen. Brands change suppliers, so treat it as history and proof of capability.
